Vintage Comforts Comes to Life
posted by Kathleen on | 6 Comments - Post a comment

When Josh asked me to talk in a video about the Spring Catalog, I laughed and told him he was crazy —I'm much better behind the camera! However, when he said he wanted me to talk about the Vintage Comforts spreads, my personal favorites, I thought maybe there was a chance I could manage!

The Vintage Comforts looks was a favorite for me this catalog. It's a twist on the traditional country-farmhouse feel but with a few modern touches to make it feel updated and still cozy. The Wireweave Baskets and Olivia Antiqued Bowl give a worn-in eclectic element while the little green Maribel Clock, blue crackle vase and scrollwork pillows and blanket add a punch of brightness to waken it up.

Watch the video below to learn more about this look and how to make it work in your home!

Vintage Comforts is a favorite of mine as well. Great job Kathleen! Very cozy!!
Love the video! This spread caught my eye in the catalog right away, mainly because of how our products were re-purposed here. Love how the Olivia Bowl was used and that bedroom looks so welcoming!
Every time I look at this setting, I'm drawn to it more and more. I realize now that my bedroom is designed with elements that inspire the same "vintage comforts"!
Vintage Comforts is such a great look any time of the year! I just love that elegant but comfortable style full of all your favorite things. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
Great job, Kathleen! You do not look camera-shy at all! :)
Great job Kathleen and Melanie. Vintage comforts is so inviting and cottage like. It's my favorite too,
