It All Comes Together

It wouldn't be a real Design Showcase without a room or two. We've been so inspired by the gray trend, and the Creative Team was just bursting to style a few rooms with it. Oh, and did I mention how good our WIllow House green happens to look with it? The room started with a pattern Katie found at Calico Corners that we pretty much fell in love with (Josh liked it so much he took a nap on it). From there, inspiration came by domino effect.

We added a metallic-finished wallpaper to the backs of the bookshelves that tied with the finish of our Addison Tray Tables. We then pulled in the bright green and blue accents throughout the room to give it a spring feel. Using multiples of products created some statement arrangements, like the simple mantle with multiple glass containers and groupings of just our green luminaries. I love the simple, clean shape of the glass containers that help set off the green hydrangeas.

For the dining room, we wanted to keep it light and airy with the large bottleneck vases. The hint of color in them is just enough to compliment the lilies. Mixed with the natural fabrics and woods, it gives the setting an elegant but natural feel. I don't know about you, but I was ready to move in! Or at least sit down and snag a few of the sweets on the buffet table.

We hope this got you inspired to start thinking about spring. Check back later for some how-to's from the showcase!

Very beautiful. Great job everyone!
Very pretty!
I am LOVING the gray trends....especially with the greens! Would look super cute with pinks or reds too! Thanks for the inspiration!
great idea to use the vase and the urns for lamps. love it! it's all beautiful!
Fabulous photos! And we must have been thinking the same thing as I posted the dining room on my blog today. I loved it - my favorite room by far! These photos make me see how yellow my photos are. My nephew dropped my camera recently and it hasn't been the same since. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the yellow hue?
Souther Fried Gal, Love your blog by the way, you are doing a great job! It is hard to take photos in these types of lighting situations, as they often do have a yellowish tint due to the kind of lighting they use. I had to adjust them in photoshop so don't blame yourself! You can usually color correct them at the print center at a drug store. Good luck!
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ROOM!!! I want to know how you made these lamps, and where you bought the materials. I'd like to show my customers how they too can covert our products. Could you PLEASEEEEE!! do a quick "how to" so we can see step by step? I love the base and the shades - FABULOUS ladies! Great Job!!
Love the table with the Lady Jane vases and the sweet dreams picture to add a little fun.
I love this room. You all did a beautiful job. It has a fresh feeling yet very inviting and comfortable.
Beautiful choice of colors and products! I, too, would love to have a "How-to" on making the lamps. We are currently living in Honolulu, and the Bottlneck vase with the wicker shade would be a BIG hit! Appreciate all your hard work in putting together your stunning showcases/vignettes!
Thank you for the inspiration!!! I'm dreaming of a cruise!!
Love It! Where did you get the wonderful table and sidebar?
Gray trend is alright for the sunny south but up north in these winter months I would like to see some more color! However it does look very nice. I always like eating on a bench or couch at a table.
Just beautiful!! That table looked gorgeous!! Super job!! :)
LOVE all these looks! Everything is so warm & inviting! That makes sense though since it's Willow House products :)
These photos make me want to pull everything off my bookshelves and rearrange!
What is the gray color used on the mantle?
These pictures were incredible!!! I love that "updated, but yet vintage" look!!! Now i know what i want to complete in styling my own home! You guys always do a good job!!!!!
It's lovely.
Where did you get the book cases? I love them...
