It wouldn't be a real Design Showcase without a room or two. We've been so inspired by the gray trend, and the Creative Team was just bursting to style a few rooms with it. Oh, and did I mention how good our WIllow House green happens to look with it? The room started with a pattern Katie found at Calico Corners that we pretty much fell in love with (Josh liked it so much he took a nap on it). From there, inspiration came by domino effect.
We added a metallic-finished wallpaper to the backs of the bookshelves that tied with the finish of our Addison Tray Tables. We then pulled in the bright green and blue accents throughout the room to give it a spring feel. Using multiples of products created some statement arrangements, like the simple mantle with multiple glass containers and groupings of just our green luminaries. I love the simple, clean shape of the glass containers that help set off the green hydrangeas.
For the dining room, we wanted to keep it light and airy with the large bottleneck vases. The hint of color in them is just enough to compliment the lilies. Mixed with the natural fabrics and woods, it gives the setting an elegant but natural feel. I don't know about you, but I was ready to move in! Or at least sit down and snag a few of the sweets on the buffet table.
We hope this got you inspired to start thinking about spring. Check back later for some how-to's from the showcase!
